I know of this one and one natural vitamin e product that are. The one from Sam's club is especially cost effective, I haven't found one online yet that matches cost and units (plus I like the keratin in this one). I've found biotin is one of the things that's stupid expensive in horse supplement form though.

He's moving a bunch better up front in that video than when he came home. He's still lacking step under behind, but that'll come eventually. I look forward to getting video of him go over time, and there will be a neat development series.Codex Dressagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04736021620789376995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4010353728052033100.post-34252674478161777352019-09-17T09:15:00.626-04:002019-09-17T09:15:00.626-04:00Haha I know right? They had asked if they could use Penn after his MRI... but I was so far down the rabbit hole that I was on a plan already, and I wasn't about to let anyone change the plan... esp when that plan was put in place by an Olympic vet who is on the FEI vet board.

What you pointed out is what others have- the very top of the hoof is better quality and angle, completely different from what's at the bottom. I'm hoping to keep doing these comparisons each time he's shod and at the end of a year, we should have a pretty good series!Codex Dressagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04736021620789376995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4010353728052033100.post-84578015515755592382019-09-17T08:49:42.079-04:002019-09-17T08:49:42.079-04:00So many interesting things in this post! That video is a great baseline to have, I bet in six months he'll look totally different.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04292565760924146966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4010353728052033100.post-55741285102560975502019-09-17T08:48:30.074-04:002019-09-17T08:48:30.074-04:00um can i volunteer my horse for the farrier clinic...um can i volunteer my horse for the farrier clinic to be looked at by tons of professionals????

I'm cringing at his feet - but you can see really clearly at the top of the hoof that it's growing in at the correct angle. so it does just look like poor care at some point.

Can't wait to see the afters in 6-8 months :P Purple Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17179696153116063779noreply@blogger.com
