The Inaugural Post

Let it be stated, for public knowledge to create accountability, that these are the goals of the dressage rider who writes this blog:

1. Ride my OTTB successfully (60% or better) at Prix St George no later than his 20th birthday (4/30/2019), preferably by fall 2016 (making a move up rate of one level per year).
2. By completing Goal #1, also earn my USDF Bronze and USDF Silver medals.
3. Find another goal!

As if I need more accountability in my riding. I'm already the workaholic/perfectionist/beat-myself-up-over-mistakes "dressage queen" of my eventing barn.

I'm new to blogging, so we'll see how this goes. I want to record my rides (good and bad) so I can come back to it later and see what was working, what wasn't, and what changed. I picked a good time to start, I'm going to my first horse show of the season on Sunday! May as well start with a test and document how it goes from there!
